Structure & Performance
Conversion & Performance Optimization
Earn more from the traffic you already have before buying more of it.
You probably need this if…
- Mobile converts far worse than desktop and nobody investigated why
- Largest Contentful Paint sits above 2.5 seconds on key pages
- Your contact form asks for eleven fields
- Ad copy promises something the landing page never mentions
Built for
- Companies with steady traffic and disappointing lead volume
- Advertisers paying for clicks that land on slow pages
- Teams that have never run a structured conversion review
What you actually receive.
- Core Web Vitals diagnosis using field data, not lab scores alone
- Prioritised speed fixes with expected millisecond savings per item
- Form and funnel friction audit with a reduced field specification
- Message match review across your highest-spend ad-to-page paths
- Mobile experience walkthrough on real devices
- Test plan with hypotheses, sample size, and duration calculated in advance
How the work runs.
Measure Reality
Lab scores flatter you. I work from field data — what your actual users on actual devices and connections experience — because that is what both Google and your buyers respond to.
Remove Friction
Every required form field costs completions. Every unnecessary step costs completions. I audit the path end to end and cut what does not earn its place.
Match The Promise
Paid traffic converts on continuity. If the ad promises a price and the page opens with company history, the click is wasted. I align the two across your highest-spend paths.
Test Honestly
Sample size and duration are calculated before a test starts. Tests called early on encouraging numbers are the most common way teams convince themselves of things that are not true.
What changes when this is done.
- Core Web Vitals in the green on pages that matter
- Fewer form fields and measurably more completions
- Ad-to-page continuity on your highest-spend campaigns
- A test plan that produces conclusions instead of opinions
Is page speed still a ranking factor?
Core Web Vitals are a confirmed but modest ranking signal. The stronger argument is commercial: slow pages lose conversions and raise paid acquisition costs, which usually matters more than the ranking effect itself.
How much traffic do I need to run A/B tests?
Reliable testing generally needs several hundred conversions per variant. Below that, I recommend applying established best practice and measuring before-and-after rather than running underpowered tests that produce false confidence.
Do you implement fixes or just recommend them?
Both are available. At Specialist level I implement directly. At Director or CMO level I specify the work and review your team’s implementation before release.
